Flip floppin’ flow
It’s hard to take anything read on the internet without a grain of salt, but sometimes people get so worked up over nothing that that nothing actually formulates into something. Confused? In the case of Texas rapper Bun B, rapping about there being “no mixtape coming soon” actually convinced people that a mixtape titled No Mixtape was on its way. Ever the opportunist, Bun B capitalized on the unlikely and misdirected hype by going back on his words and whipping up some tracks in a timely manner. Sure, it’s just another example of an artist saying one thing and doing another, but you have to admire that go-getting attitude.
